Our Mission

ChessPupils is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the benefits of chess to children of all ages and backgrounds

We believe that children ARE the future that will continue to inspire others for generations to come

EVERY CHILD deserves the opportunity to enjoy chess to the fullest.

Join our free summer chess program this summer, open to all students. Taught by Stanford students and National Masters, the program is a game-changer for beginners to fall in love with a game that has hundreds of cognitive benefits! Students will also get to meet other talented students and make new friends.

“Chess helps you to concentrate, improve your logic. It teaches you to play by the rules and take responsibility for your actions, how to problem solve in an uncertain environment.”

— Garry Kasparov, Former Chess World Champion

Our programs provide students with a chance to explore the world of chess and develop skills that will help them in all facets of life!

Our Approach

Our goal is to allow kids of all backgrounds to realize the educational benefits of chess.

We passionately educate kids in order to provoke their desire to enjoy the game and to spread their joy with others in their community.

Our interactive classes provide students with an opportunity to learn the game of chess in a way that sustains their interest in the game while nudging them on the path to improvement.

Our goal doesn’t stop with chess. Chess directly correlates with higher academic performance. Through chess, we wish to instill other qualities and characteristics in students that will help them in other facets of their life.
